Mount Pleasant

Designing a feature staircase within existing confines is always a challenge. This property was particularly restricted in terms of available space for a staircase with limited headroom. The final design however is simply eyecatching. This staircase combines a central carriage style structure in mild steel, with substantial solid oak treads and a clear toughened glass balustrade. A hand made oak handrail caps the glass balustrade.

The resulting staircase was a huge success, and we continue to work with renowned coastal architect Brian Haward of Southwold on a number of interesting projects.
