The Mount Pleasant Barn Project
Designing a feature staircase within existing confines is always a challenge. This property was particularly restricted in terms of available space for a staircase.

This staircase combines a central carriage style structure in mild steel, with substantial solid oak treads and clear toughened glass balustrade. A hand made oak handrail caps the glass balustrade.
The resulting staircase is a success. Renowned local architect Brian Haward of Southwold was pleased with the final product and repeat business has been secured.
