The Willow Cottage Project
Although this staircase appears simple it remains effective. This project consists of two staircases, one positioned over the top of another. The interesting part is that the openings were different sizes and misaligned, and the staircases were to conceal this fact and to appear aligned.

This was achieved through careful planning and 3D development. Once the development was complete the staircases light wells effortlessly aligned, whilst fitting the openings perfectly. The string connections are every so subtly blended to engage a continuous flow from one section of stair to another. In most circumstances this unattractive detail would be concealed using a newel post, but as you can see it has been achieved without.
Design development and appreciation have ensured this staircase remains clear, crisp and effortless. Glass balustrade, stainless steel handrails, Oak treads and site finished white strings.
