Staircase Design

Introduction

Demax have the skills and knowledge to make your dream staircases a reality. Several years ago Demax had the foresight to realize that staircases were quickly becoming a main feature of the house interior.

Here at Demax be believe the staircase has two main purposes. One; to get you safely from floor to floor, conforming to building regulations. Second; to make a statement, to flow, to be admired and enjoyed by its users. Balance is key; lines, space, colours, design, shape, lighting. Every aspect is important and achieving the balance from one staircase to another takes experience.

Anyone can draw a staircase, less can design a staircase and even fewer can guarantee their designs. Most enquiries we receive demonstrate that the staircase is somewhat of an afterthought, which later can be very restrictive and the staircase is compromised and doesn't achieve its full effect and potential. By working with us from the start, you truly can make your staircase a unique feature in your home.

Demax use Solidworks professional including rendering software. Not only can we demonstrate the staircases in 2D and 3D, we can render up real life images, with customizable colours, textures, scenes. All this can be established and explored prior to manufacture. 3D models are also available with 360 degrees navigation.

See from the images how closely the renders match the final installed staircases, the more information we get from the start the more realistic and closer it will resemble the final product. It's important for us to understand the property and the client’s tastes, to fully realize their specification. Quite often the design can be outlined but the essence of the design can only be received from the architects and/or clients and then can be inputted into the design. Some subtle changes that most people do not notice can make that a custom personalisation for the specific client and their property.
