The Bar 38 Project

The complexity of this project, in terms of design and installation, is not immediately apparent, and is hidden by the simplicity of the finished appearance.

The spine of the stair was a 219mm diameter tube that ran straight (on plan) from the left hand corner of the first tread to the right hand corner of the top tread. This meant that every tread supporting bracket was placed differently from the next.
